It was a breeze to install the PC software and it worked instantly. Saved me a ton of time when I was selling a boat load of books.

I purchased the desktop program Movie Collectorz and this app works with this program like a well oiled machine. I use my iphone 4S to scan my vast movie collections and its fun to watch the scanned movies populate instantly on the app and desktop. I now purchase the CLZ movie app to have a mobile record of my collections. Now I can see all the duplicate movies I bought in error. This is a must have for movies enthusiasts. As an added bonus, customer service is great!

Most of the problems Ive had are covered by others, but one of the more infuriating issues has got to be incorrect data. I dont know if its a problem with the app, or their database, but in attempting to scan movies and video games (so far), the app is flagging MOST of the video game entries as movies, and a few of them are flat out incorrect (wrong game or movie despite the UPC code being correct). The whole point of this app is to automate the data entry...but instead you have to audit every single thing you scan because many of them are wrong.

It is simple yet does everything I need it to do. It has saved me so much time I would have wasted entering barcodes.

DO NOT BUY - BROKEN This app could be awesome. It might have been awesome once, but it is broken and is awesome no more. I have yet to get it to scan a code successfully. It seems hard for the app to not crash. It even crashed when trying to send in a trouble ticket. Ive tried just about everything I know and nothing. I then tried the same codes under same conditions on alternative apps. They usually scanned 100% of the time. Maybe they should license the scanning software from Red Laser or the like and use that instead of the broken crud in it.

Perfect companion to the Collectorz programs. Works much better than the traditional scanners and allows you to send large chunks of data at a time. Very efficient so far.

This app not only works flawlessly, it integrates well with the same companys book collector software ony PC. Im especially pleased with the open interface, which allows me to make use of the app for other purposes. Well done!

I was amazed with this app, its easy and it does what it says it does. I use it to scan selected items at our store which need to be categorized based on SKU.

Bought pricey CLZ Barry to tame my CD collection of UK folk music - sadly Barry and very pricey MuC are unable to identify way too many of these barcoded albums and I ended up using MuCs laborious method of IDing cds from the CD drive where MuC did somewhat better in terms of identifying albums but again, considering the cost of this program, I expected a better outcome.

This is a great app. Highly customizable. The only thing I dislike is that the helper app (Buddy for Berry) frequently disconnects from the server. I want to be able to pick up my scanner randomly throughout the day and just start scanning. Instead, if I havent used the app for a short time, I have to go to the Buddy for Barry app and tell it to reconnect—annoying. If they could change that one thing, this app would be perfect.

This is truly a great companion to the CLZ comic database! Definitely save yourself a headache. You can input your comics into the d-base efficiently without a hassle. BUY IT THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!

Ok, so I bought a scanner to enter products in a web and OSX app and it refused to do it correctly but worked on a windows machine. Mac keyboards are different and the barcode scanners emulate a standard keyboard. No buggy. I tried serveral apps and none worked satisfactorily. Some required you to copy and past, but this JUST WORKS. Put your curser in the app or box scan and BAM!!! Its there over wifi. Instantaneously. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Anybody want to buy my barcode scanner it might still be up on eBay...

Waste of $8. Followed instructions to the letter. It will not make a connection with the required "Buddy". There is a guide to how it works, but zero help for if it is not working.

Highly recommend. Great addition to the program. Works as advertised and saves loads of time.

WOW! I think that is one of greatest things since sliced bread! Its BETTER than sliced bread!!! I am now able to scan all my movies and keep a log of what I have and where it is in my Sony jukebox. Thank you Collectorz and iPad, youve made my day!

The ONLY reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that it will not work over my LAN, it requires an internet connection. That being said....I was hesitant to buy this app because there were no reviews, but decided to give it a shot. Glad I did. In the interest of full disclosure, yes, I am a nerd. I have wanted a "wedge scanner" for a bit now so I can scan barcodes into my various databases to scan books, pantry, etc. I wanted a wireless device but not bad enough to spend over 50.00 for one. While researching for a new software to catalogue my library (many texts books in various formats) I found a reference to this app. Just downloaded it, installed the companion app on my PC and was scanning within 5 minutes. It does exactly what it says.

Very happy with this app. Easily cataloged 500+ books. Great pairing with CLZ Barry scanner app with CLZ Books. Would be 5 stars if the user guide was more complete.

I m still a novice. Lots to learn but. Help line is good
