Does the job, despite clunky user interface

The bar code scanner works great on my iPad Air, even through comic bags. It works best with comic nearly vertical (to reduce glare & shadow from overhead light), and iPad in portrait orientation.

The user interface is awkward. The buttons are small, nondescript, and leave far too much useless screen. The notes with arrows on the home page is nice, until a full list covers them. Most notable is the select button and back button (cancel) on opposite corners. Exiting the scan mode and entering the list to select items is clunky.

Uploading barcodes to the desktop via Buddy works great. Its fast and fairly easy to do. Ive already catalogued over 2000 comics and 100s of books.
